FLOOD DAMAGED HOME OWNERS MEETING

The Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office of Emergency Management will be hosting an informational workshop on Thursday evening, April 16, 2009 from 5:30 PM to 9:00 PM, at the Law Enforcement Center Meeting Room, located at the northwest corner of the Law Enforcement Center at 613 Minnesota Ave NW in downtown Bemidji.

THIS MEETING IS FOR ALL home and private property owners who experienced damages from the recent floods.

We hope to accomplish and address several issues.

First of all, we want to make sure that all homeowners who have had damage from the recent floods are in our tracking database (to include current phone numbers, names, where presently located, etc). Second, we will have worksheets available to explain FEMA guidelines for establishing damage levels per their parameters. Third we will review whatever we have been able to get for information regarding any help, IF it becomes available. This will be a drop by and get information type of meeting. No need to sit through a long presentation but we do want to meet and talk with all of you. We may not have answers to all your questions but we will have some helpful materials.
