The FEMA Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) is now set up and open for the homeowners who incurred damage from the overland flooding in our area.

The Center is located at the Beltrami County Lakeside Service Center Conference Room at 505 Bemidji Ave N. This is located on the west side of Bemidji Ave just north of the Masonic Temple/Mask and Rose Theater, in the same building as PATH and Beltrami County Natural Resource Management. The center is staffed by both FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency) and SBA (Small Business Administration). The center will be open from May 11-May 20, 2009 and hours of operation are Monday through Friday 9:00 AM- 7:00 PM and Saturday 9:00 AM-4:00 PM. Closed on Sunday.

All flood survivors are urged to have completed their initial FEMA registration by calling 1-800-621-FEMA prior to their arrival at the staffed center where one-on-one assistance with disaster aid will be available.
